Screw conveyor auger is widely used in the field of chemical industry, building materials, food and so on. Mainly used for conveying powder, 

granular and small pieces of material. However, it is not suitable for conveying perishable, viscous material as well as material that is easy to agglomerate.

Spiral conveyor auger construction material selection: when screw conveyor transport ambient material with corrosive features, 

we usually use carbon steel (Q235); when screw conveyor conveys high temperature (higher than 150 DEG C), we usually use 

manganese plate since manganese plate has the advantages of high temperature resistance and wear resistance; when the material 

is corrosive, stainless steel (SS304) is generally used because SS304 is corrosion resistant, in addition, after polishing, screw conveyor 

has a good appearance, which is commonly used in chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries. If screw feeder conveyor is used to 

convey the food, food grade stainless steel (SS306L) will be used.
